The Lakes Area Police Department
is currently accepting applications for the position of Police
Officer. This is a sworn, uniformed position. The Lakes Area
Police Department is located in Lindstrom, MN in
Chisago County and includes the cities of Lindstrom and Chisago City as well as the Chisago Lakes School District within
its jurisdiction.
- 2024 Salary range $33.58 - $43.41
- 2025 Salary range $35.28 - $44.28
- Assigned squad car - take home within 10 minutes of the Chisago Lakes School District
- Deferred Compensation Plans available
- Health Savings Accounts provided (100% funded for single, 70% funded for family)
- Health benefits include 100% paid single or 70% paid family
- Initial Uniform allowance fully funded
- Annual Uniform allowance provided
- Work schedule is 4 days on, 4 days off, 11 hour shifts
- Hiring bonus of $4,000 - Lateral Entry for experienced hires

comprehensive background investigation and physical fitness examination.
