| The Lakes Area Police Department has established a body camera program. As part of that process, the department has taken public comment on the creation of it's policy which can be found on this page. The body camera program follows MN statutes and Minnesota Data Practices. |
| The Lakes Area Police Commission held a public hearing on Wednesday, May 8th, 2019 at 6:00 PM in regards to the use of Body-Worn Cameras. Below, you will additional information including the Lakes Area Police's policy and the Minnesota State Statute on the adoption of Portable Recording Systems.
